There are nine major tribes in Ghana; Ashanti, Ewe, Mole-Dagbon, Fante, Ga-Adangbe, Guan, Dagomba and Hausa. Over 70% of Ghanians speak and understand Twis, which make it second most spoken language apart from English, their official language.
