Where is couture clothing made?
Couture refers to sewing and tailoring specific garments for fashion shows, art installations, or to wear. Once Ferragamo’s network of trusted garment factories has completed its new products, they will be shipped from across Italy to Florence for final quality control before distribution. It’s important to note that couture and haute couture are two different things, although their results are similar. The first edition of the Cavalli clothing line of each new season is 100% made in Italy, while the second series are partly produced abroad.
