Rolex sets one UK list price for each model, so a new watch costs the same from any authorised dealer in London or elsewhere in the UK. According to a July 2026 price guide that quotes Rolex’s January 2026 UK list prices including VAT, entry-level models start at about £5,150.
UK list prices (January 2026)
- Oyster Perpetual 28mm: £5,150.
- Oyster Perpetual 41mm: £5,900.
- Datejust 36mm steel: £6,800.
- Datejust 41mm steel: £7,450.
- Submariner (no date), steel: £8,450.
- Submariner Date, steel: £9,500 with a black bezel and £9,950 with a green bezel.
Waiting lists and the pre-owned market
The same guide says demand for the most wanted steel models, such as the Submariner Date, GMT-Master II and Daytona, exceeds what authorised dealers can supply, so buyers often pay above list price on the pre-owned market. Some older references, and some two-tone models, can sell for less than current retail.
Buying safely
- Buy new from an authorised Rolex dealer.
- If you buy pre-owned, ask for the box, papers and a clear service history.
- Be cautious of prices that look too good to be true, as fake and altered watches exist.
Rolex changes its prices from time to time, so confirm the current figure with an authorised dealer. This is general information, not investment advice.
