The real UGG brand is the one owned by Deckers Brands. Wikipedia says Brian Smith trademarked UGG and Deckers holds registrations in the US, China and over 130 other countries.

Deckers’ Australian UGH trademarks were removed for non-use in 2006, but the stylised UGG Australia mark was kept. A US court ruled that UGG is not generic, and in 2016 an Australian senator called for ugg to be protected as an Australian footwear term.
