What was Gucci’s first name?
Despite all the difficulties, Gucci created unique products that used alternatives to materials that were not available. The dynamism, creativity, artistic aesthetics and detailing of his products represent the pinnacle of craftsmanship. As with all other well-known brands, the story of Gucci begins with the vision of its founder Guccio Gucci. She brought along Richard Lambertson, Neil Barrett and Tom Ford, the last of whom was to write the script for Gucci’s phoenix-like rise in the
1990s.
Aldo, Guccio’s son, became increasingly involved in the family business since he began working there in 1925.
