FashionNetwork reported on 27 May 2025 that Chanel overtook Louis Vuitton in Brand Finance’s luxury and premium ranking. Chanel was second overall at 37.9 billion dollars, up more than 45 percent, behind Porsche at 41.1 billion dollars. Louis Vuitton was third at 32.9 billion dollars, and Hermès held fourth.

Strongest brand

On Brand Finance’s strength index, Dior ranked first globally with a score of 93.5, and Chanel fourth with 89.6.
